This past Sunday we began our series in Multiply. The whole idea of Multiply is about “disciples making disciples”.
This week in “Living As A Disciple Maker” we heard a lot about what a disciple is, the command to make disciples and the heart of a disciple maker.
The word disciple refers to a student or apprentice. Disciples in Jesus’s day would follow their rabbi (which means teacher) wherever he went, learning from the rabbi’s teaching and being trained to do as the rabbi did. Basically, a disciple is a follower, but only if we take the term follower literally. Becoming a disciple of Jesus is as simple as obeying His call to follow.
We are called to “go and make disciples”.
As we journey through Multiply, I encourage you to not only hear the sermons, but also go through it with your small group, listen to the audio, watch the videos, read the book, study with your spouse or family, share your journey with one another. This material is not meant to only be Sunday morning, but meant to be applied to your life and shared with those around you.

As we begin our journey in Multiply, reflect on the question that Cory ended his sermon with this past Sunday – Do you want to live your life as a disciple maker? Read the passages below and seek God’s guidance as we journey together.
