After last months Lighthouse service, a woman came up requesting prayer. She mentioned how the message that day spoke to her. After being prayed for she asked to receive a bible and a copy of the script from the service and these were both given to her.
This month she returned to Lighthouse. She made a point to come up after the service and talk about how lasts months prayer and bible impacted her life in a positive way. Praise the Lord. She also said that she did not come for a food hamper, rather she just wanted to hear the message.
Lighthouse is a blessing for this woman, and all those who attend it. Everyone who supports this ministry is helping our church do God’s will.
On Saturday, for our Christmas Hampers at Lighthouse, we were able to do 75 hampers given out for lighthouse and had approximately 80 people attended.
On Monday we made another 4 family hampers.
We are thankful and overwhelmed by the number of volunteers.
There were plenty of sandwiches available for every person that attended and even enough left over to put in their hampers as well.
We were not going to do the clothing this month but we had a about 30 winter jackets and a lot of Christmas items
donated. We had 6 rectangular tables and three round tables packed with clothes and trinkets when we were done we had 3 jackets that we donated to the Love Lives Here Bus for their street outreach and all other items were taken by our guests.
We would like to say a special thank you to our singers we had, all the people who made sandwiches, packed the hampers, distributed hampers, and help with the clean up, our speaker, child care workers, clothing room volunteer, kitchen help, and everyone who donated to this ministry whether it was finanacially or their time.
