Last week during the sermon portion of our worship service I asked the question, ‘How can you be saved?’ I want to thank those of the congregation that texted, tweeted, emailed or wrote out a response to the question. I really enjoy hearing from you, the congregation, in regards to what the Lord is saying. I truly believe that God speaks to us individually and corporately. It is good to spend time in God’s word, to share with each other what we discern His word is saying and to take time to share it with one another.
Here are some of the responses that I received:
- We haven’t done anything to earn it. It was all accomplished on the cross. A stumbling block for some and foolishness to others, but for us who are being saved, Christ the power of God.
- Saved by grace not of works lest any man should boast.
- By the grace of God as I learn to relate to the Lord Jesus Christ as my Saviour.
- Trust the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind.
- I believe Christ died for me to give me everlasting life hereafter.
Thanks again for the responses. If by chance I missed your response, let me know. You can email to firstname.lastname@example.org, text 306.533.7795, tweet @cory_papac or call 306.789.2727
