Video report from staff of CLC…
Hello friends of God. This past Sunday we covered chapters 25 & 26 of the book of Acts. I would encourage you to go online and listen to message if you were unable to attend this past Sunday. You could also come and join us this Wednesday for our Generations service as we are going to be taking a deeper look into Acts 25 & 26. We are having a potluck at 6pm then the service will be at 6:30pm.
I would encourage you to take a look at Professor Cam’s video on sharing our faith in Christ. I enjoyed the video so much. It made me laugh and ponder how I actually show people Christ via my life.
The key verse to this past Sunday’s message was Acts 26: 28 – 29
28 Agrippa interrupted him. “Do you think you can persuade me to become a Christian so quickly?”
29 Paul replied, “Whether quickly or not, I pray to God that both you and everyone here in this audience might become the same as I am, except for these chains.”
Paul wanted everyone to have a personal and living relationship with God. He wanted to show and tell everyone that Christ had transformed his life. What a wonderful example Paul is to us. Paul was called to stand before thousands and preach the story of Jesus Christ. Maybe God will call you to stand in front of thousands or maybe, He will call you to stand in front of one person every year and tell them about God’s love for them.
Praying that each and every person who is able to attend the Multiply simulcast this Friday night will attend. Take time to read the message below from our CLC Board Chair.
On behalf of your team here at CLC – Cory
On behalf of the Board and Elders I would like to encourage you to come out and participate in the Multiply webcast at Celebration on Friday night. During our congregational forums a common theme was that people wanted help to be able share Jesus. We all need that help, which is why this webcast is so important and why it’s being made available.
I know it’s scary to share your faith with others. But it’s not scary to learn about it. I plan to be there. Please come and join me.

For those of you who missed the latest episode of Professor Cam…
This Sunday we flew through the book of acts, summarizing chapter 1 through 24. It is so interesting to see/hear the story of acts in its entirety (minus a couple of chapters). It allows us to really get a feel for the story and how certain circumstances brought about new opportunities (or opposition).
We also spent a good portion of the morning talking about the ministry connections that our church has had (or will have) the opportunity to be a part of.
At the close of the service Sunday we took an offering to help support 3 ministries in Regina – Healing Hearts, The Oasis, Chili for Children. We collected over $700 to help this ministries out. Thank you church!
During the service, I spent some time sharing about the upcoming missions trip to Africa. I am BEYOND excited about it. We will be going from April 28-May 9 (with an optional additional week after). There will be 2 teams to 2 countries on 1 trip. 1 team will be a ministry emphasis team going to Rwanda working directly with Eddie & Bonita – doing VBS, soccer ministry, church ministry, street ministry, etc. The other team will be going to Uganda doing a mix of building and ministry. The Uganda team will be working with Watoto, A.C.O.G.I, and Uganda School for the Deaf.
I encourage everyone, whether you are thinking about coming or not, to pray into it, see what God is saying. If you are interested in coming, please contact me (Cam) after consulting with God. If you are not coming, please pray for the team, for these ministries that we will be connected with and for God to move in the hearts of those in Africa as well as in our own.
